Mike Devon is back in his most explosive assignment to date…
Top counter-terrorism operative, Mike Devon, is back in the new full-length action thriller – Absence of Rules – now available on Amazon.
To some people Mike Devon is a highly trained counter-terrorism operative. To others, he’s little more than a Government-sanctioned assassin. Either way, Devon always takes the line of least resistance to get the job done, particularly when he’s faced with two al-Qaeda leaders preparing to unleash a new terror campaign against America and its European allies.
But Devon also has to deal with a sinister Russian oil billionaire pulling the strings in a determined bid to return to the days of East-West conflict. The stakes couldn’t be higher.
Devon has to fight his way through a plot to blow up the Eiffel Tower, and stop the assassination of some of the world’s leading businessmen in a roller-coaster that becomes highly personal, and threatens the lives of the people he loves the most.
Absence of Rules is now on Amazon – don’t miss it!

SOMEONE HAS TO PAY – DEVON’S FIRST FULL LENGTH THRILLER
Someone Has To Pay is a high-octane thriller featuring Britain’s top counter-terrorism operative, Mike Devon, who is tasked with bringing the IRA to its knees.
Hidden behind the cover of an RAF base at Bishopscourt in County Down, Devon puts together a special unit which sets out on a ruthless campaign to wreak havoc among the IRA ranks. Kidnap, torture and shoot-to-kill orders are all on the table.
But against mounting international pressure for peace in Ireland, the IRA has its own strategy for winning an outright victory before the doves move in. They call on their most ruthless assassin, Fergal McSweeney, to strike one final devastating blow for freedom.
The action swings from Chicago to London before ending up in a bloody showdown in the suburbs of Dublin. When the dust settles, who will walk away?
Someone Has To Pay has been released by Master Koda Select Publishing and is available for download from Amazon.

ALREADY PUBLISHED………..
My action short story Death by Licence features the first assignment for MI6’s newest recruit, Mike Devon, who is out to stop the flow of weapons from a shady London dealer to the IRA in Northern Ireland. His orders are simple: “Forget all that movie crap about a Licence to Kill. What you’ve got goes way beyond that. There are no suspects’ rights, no rules of evidence, and absolutely no arrest warrants. I’m giving you a licence to do whatever it takes to get the job done.”

I just wanted to say thank you for writing a book for the world to read and to state how wonderful I think it is that you have left the world such a magnificiant gift as a personal piece of yourself with this book . This has been my first time celebrating the accomplishment of a REAL live author as a book is released. Wow thanks I am so a new fan.

Joe,
I’m excited to read more about Mike DeVon and am looking forward to Someone Has To Pay. Matt Dixon was a proper badass too.
The primary protaganist in the novel I’m working on has a history in the Troubles as well and so does the character I introduced in Action PPT. Keep up the good work!
Norma – thanks for leaving a comment. It’s nice to get encouragement from readers of the genre. I hope you get the chance to pick up one of my creations.
Both of these books sound intriguing. It’s interesting how books of this genre have wormed their way into some of my favorites.
